Fencing Progress: The Durand Line or the Pak-Afghan border stretches along 2,640 kilometers, that includes very difficult and barren topography so fencing has been a mammoth task. However, it is believed that significant progress has been made.
Opposition leader: Shahbaz Sharif called the attack ‘cowardly’ and saluted the soldiers who lay down their lives for the country in the line of duty.
Pakistan has been constantly asking the Afghan government for effective border management as terrorist attacks escalate from their side of the border, especially during fencing efforts.
