What happened: An accountability court in Islamabad has issued constant arrest warrants for the former finance minister Ishaq Dar’s arrest in a corruption case, as NAB had earlier filed a reference against the former finance minister. The National Accountability Bureau in Pakistan had also declared Ishaq Dar an absconder claiming he missed hearings of his cases as his stay in London was prolonged. Details: However, on May 18, the court judge ruled that the proceedings of the case won’t make progress until Ishaq Dar was arrested and then presented before the court. However, the hearing was adjourned as the court sought Ishaq Dar’s arrest in the case.
