As the #PSL players have started to arrive in the provincial capital, the NCOC has given the go-ahead to allow 50% of spectators till February 15 and after that, 100% of Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium can be filled up with cricket fans. Moreover, Lahore vs Karachi encounter will feature a full stadium as it is considered the most hyper-up Pakistan Super League match.
Details: It is pertinent to mention that previously the NCOC had allowed only 25% of the stadium to be filled up with fans, and under-12s were not allowed to come to the stadium. However, for the Lahore leg of PSL NCOC has allowed unvaccinated under-12 children in the stadium. At the same time, NCOC has reported a decline in Covid-19 cases in the country as 3338 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Pakistan on February 6.
