Maldives’ floating breakfast is nothing but a waste of money…

We’ve all heard a lot about Maldives’ floating breakfast. Tourists have shared their beautiful and mesmerizing pictures on their Instagram handles, enjoying quality time in pool, having breakfast with their loved ones. But is it as appealing as it looks? We doubt so. The trend escalated quickly from breakfast in bed to breakfast in pool. But imagine sitting in pool, only to have hot coffee and freshly cooked egg just being bland and cold. Sharing a review from a tourist who visited Maldives last year, “It was a total waste of money. They charged me $90 for a food platter which was nothing worth the hype.” The food served is ordinary. Two glasses of fresh juice, some bakery items, yoghurt fruits, tea or coffee. So is it really wise to spend heavy bucks for what can easily be served in any hotel room.

The trends go crazy and we take them to another level. Should this trend ens of exploiting people or do we still have room to experience some adventure?
