What Happened : The military said early on Friday that Israeli fighter jets attacked Gaza over night in response to apparent incendiary balloons launched into Israel by Gaza.
Details: According to reports, Israeli fighter jets struck a weapons manufacturing site in the Gaza Strip overnight on Friday. This is the third air raid after the ceasefire ended May’s attacks. The incendiary balloons from Gaza apparently caused small fires on Farming Israeli land, but since Israel has vowed to respond to even minor attacks, it repulsed through massive air raid. Security sources from Hamas stated the raids hit training sites, however, no casualties have been reported so far.
There was no immediate conclusion as to which Gaza-based group launched the balloon, but Israel held Hamas responsible for the action. It is paramount to remember that Israel still has not eased the crippling blockade on basic commodities that it imposed on Gaza when it seized power from rival Palestinian forces in 2007. Gaza strip is inhabited by at least two million people who live in dire humanitarian conditions. The territory is considered to be one of the world’s most densely populated area with half of the population under 18. Click here to see more from Propergaanda.
