Israel bombing of Gaza escalates leading to mass evacuation

Israel forces continue bombardment over several areas near the Gaza strip for the 3rd day, heightening tensions to extremity, report sources. The current air raid is the most intense of all air strikes aimed at Gaza since 2014. In retaliation, Rockets from Gaza have been deployed towards Israel, with one rocket hitting an Israeli pipeline near Ashkelon, causing a widespread fire.

According to authorities, more than 36 Palestinians, including 10 children, have been killed due to the attacks. The violence continued, as Israeli police attacked and occupied Al-Aqsa compounds for the 3rd consecutive day, firing rubber-coated steel rounds, stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinian worshippers in the final days of Ramazan. Hamas, a group which holds power in Gaza, proposed an ultimatum, demanding the Israeli army to deescalate the situation or they will be met with more rocket attacks. Tens of families have been left homeless after their homes were destroyed in the attacks. Videos of the aftermath of attacks have surfaced the internet, leading to a trend calling out Israel and its violation of human rights.
