Ehsaas Kafalat programme will now allow transgender persons under its welfare scheme

What happened: The social welfare programme by the government, Ehsaas Kafalat, announced on Monday that it will now include all transgender persons with valid CNIC in the country under its scheme. Details: The programme will provide a stipend of Rs 2,000 to each beneficiary along with a savings bank account.
