What happened : A woman in Texas was caught on footage on 7th November after she threw a bowl of hot soup in the face of a restaurant worker at Sol De Jalisco, an eatery in Temple, Texas. Details : In the CCTV footage, the woman had earlier bought the soup and later returned to the restaurant, where she was caught on video throwing the soup at the employee who she had got into an argument with on phone over the soup. The customer came over to complain that, ‘the soup was too hot that it melted the plastic lid of the container’. The employee, identified as Jannelle Broland said that the customer first called to complain about the soup, to which Ms.Broland offered her a refund, but the woman started abusing her and then hung up. Later she came over and started abusing her once again, and later threw the hot soup in her face, “My eyes were burning, my nose was bleeding. I was in a lot of pain,” says Ms.Broland. What else : The police hasn’t caught the woman yet buy she’ll be facing charges once they find her. The restaurant published a statement denouncing the woman’s actions and emphasising the importance of customers treating employees with respect.
