What happened: On March 18, PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated Imran Khan will not be permitted to become a political martyr as he congratulated the people of Pakistan, claiming that Imran has lost majority support and that his government has crumbled. The Prime Minister tried to intimidate the opposition by “attacking the Parliament Lodges first, then Sindh House, but we will not be cowed down,” says Bilawal.  Details: He claimed that the Prime Minister’s use of force was a violation of Article 6 of the Constitution as he said PPP will not run for the premiership since the PMLN has the right to do so, and that electoral reforms are the PPP’s top objective. The new government’s mandate would be limited to reforms that would take a few months to complete. He went on to say that all choices will be made by consensus. According to Bhutto, the opposition would consider Shehbaz Sharif’s idea for a five-year national government.
