66 decaying bodies found at Nishtar Hospital have been buried but their identity still remains a mystery

What happened: The 66 decaying bodies, found at the rooftop of Nishtar Hospital, Multan, were buried on October 19 by the Edhi Foundation and the administration. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) rejected the Punjab government’s inquiry committee on the matter and urged the Supreme Court to take note of this inhumane tragedy. Details: Nasarullah Baloch, the chairman of VBMP, expressed his opinions at a news conference where he noted that the order to register FIRs, conducting DNA tests, and investigating the cause of death, issued by the top court in 2015, were never implemented. Additionally, he said that the court’s order for DNA testing of the remains found in the Khuzdar district’s Totak area wasn’t carried out as well.
