Will Rare replace Bovinos as the go to place for steaks?

We opted for their Surf and Turf steak which was delicious however the tiger prawn served along with it was just average. The steak was succulent and delicious. The whole platter got a bit cold as the weather was quite windy and they spent a good deal of time serving it so I requested them to heat it up a bit which they did but they served us a new steak along with it so we could enjoy the complete experience. It was a very hospitable gesture on their part. We ordered grilled chicken as well which was exceptional. Loved the sauces served along with it and the taste of chicken was wholesome. Would definitely go again soon. Highly recommended.”

It came on a trolley with sides of mashed potato and roasted bone marrow, now comes the shashka part,the waiter took good 5 minutes to crush Parmesan then blow torch for some time, the time when steak came to me unfortunately it wasn’t warm, the steak was on harder side too (I ordered medium well) the prawn was absolutely cold too,in short I didn’t liked my main dish.

Cannot believe that the local beef has been treated this well with care. The bone marrow is cooked right on the table with a torch and gives you a chance to capture the theatrics and later post on your Instagram. The jumbo prawns were finger licking good. Steak with fried lamb fat; My favorite steak as it just melts in your mouth and the fried lamb fat just takes it a notch above.”

All the action that was done with the burner on Surf and Turf was completely unnecessary… absolutely made no sense and it burned the sauce.. burned the prawn … burned the steak and the steak was not even cooked on the temperature asked!!! Oh and at the end of all the burning there was a off putting smell of the bone which contained the bone marrow ? Really a false hype ?
