Why did Saudi Arabia authorities ban passengers from carrying Zamzam water in baggage? 

What happened: The Saudi General Aviation Authority has now directed all the concerned airlines to restrict passengers from carrying Zamzam water in their luggage. They have banned the passengers’ who have checked-in-luggage ahead of Zil Hajj as they introduce new guidelines. Details: A Pakistani publication quoted the development as,  “All the airlines operating in Saudi Arabia have been bound to strictly ensure compliance with the latest notification by the Saudi aviation authorities.”  Whereas, the ones violating will be considered a violation of the Saudi Government’s orders. Subsequently, legal action would be initiated against the violators.
