Who wants to live longer? Scientists are developing medicines that can help live to 200 years

What happened:  A British scientist, Dr. Andrew Steele, who is also a computational biologist, claims that he and his team are developing a new drug that can help humans live until the age of 200. Dr. Andrew Steele is also the same man who authored the book,  “On longevity and how long humans can live for.”  What you need to know:  The computational biologist claims that he has made new advances in the senolytics field and,  “drugs that target the destruction of cells that degrade tissue function could be crucial to humans potentially hitting the double century mark.”  DailyMailOnline also interviewed him, and he was quoted as,  “Studies come out every few years that propose some fundamental limit on human lifespan, but they are always missing one crucial piece; we have never tried treating the aging process; before.”  Also:  At the same time, Dr. Andrew claimed,  “I can not see a physical or biological reason why people could not live to 200; the challenge is whether we can develop the biomedical science to make it possible.”
