Weed becomes a ‘game changer’ for treating the after-effects of Covid-19

What happened: VICE News’ report from February 22 claimed that the oil-form of medicinal cannabis had become a game-changer for a few patients in the UK. It is pertinent to mention that the United Kingdom is conducting examinations to see how weed can help in treating post-acute sequelae of Covid-19. Subsequently, the VICE quoted a 42 year old financial service worker Andrew Vass as  “I had been suffering from torturous effects of Long Covid and weed gave me an immediate relief.”  Details: At the same time, VICE further quotes the UK man as,  “It just was not what I was expecting, and I never really considered it as a treatment, and after continuous persuasion from the doctor, I used it.”  However, after using the prescribed dosage of 0.2% tetrahydrocannabinol-containing 5% CBD, Andrew said,  “It was a game-changer, and it allowed me to put all the psychological symptoms behind me and move on.”  More:   Andrew, in his interview with the VICE, also noted that after Covid-19,  “I could barely get out of my bed. My legs felt like concrete and all of this changed for me when a doctor in the UK prescribed be the cannabis treatment.”
