What happened: A man in India’s Meerut was seen spitting while he baked rotis in the tandoor at a wedding. One of the guests secretly recorded the video at the 16th February wedding. The netizens are now asking for action to be taken against the man. Details: One of the guests was able to get hold of Naushad, who spit in the tandoori roti before baking it in the tandoor. Some Twitter users are seemingly puzzled by the man and say, “How will we now eat again at the weddings?” However, the Uttar Pradesh police have arrested Naushad and booked him under India Penal Code 268, 188, 269 and 3 other Epidemic Diseases Acts. According to reports, Naushad can be punished for more than three years at least.
