What happened: A US YouTuber that goes by the name of Trevor Jacob filmed himself crashing his own plane over California Los Padres national forest and has now lost his pilot license, revealed Guardian’s report. The development was quoted as, “In the video, Jacob can be heard I am over the mountains and I… have an engine out, then can be seen abandoning his place, and jumping out.” Details: The video was uploaded to Trevor’s YouTube channel on December 21, 2021, but a later investigation by FAA disclosed that it was all for a YouTube video. Federal Aviation Administration’s report revealed, “Jacob’s 1940 Taylorcraft was intentionally crashed, which demonstrated a lack of care, judgment, and responsibility by choosing to jump out of an aircraft solely so you could record a YouTube video of the crash.” More: At the same time, the US Aviation agency claimed that the intentional crash of the plane forced them to cancel Trevor’s pilot license. A notification further quoted on The Guardian read, “If you fail to surrender your certificates immediately, you will be subjected to further legal enforcement action, including a civil penalty.”
