Pakistan has reported 18 confirmed coronavirus cases, out of which 15 belong to Karachi, and who have travelled to Iran or have migrated back from Iran or china.

US Defence Secretary Mark Esper has postponed his trip to Pakistan, India and Uzbekistan over the coronavirus spread.

Pentagon press secretary Alyssa Farah tweeted that the trip had been postponed out of “an abundance of caution” and to help manage the defence department’s response to the virus outbreak.

The US just crossed 1000 coronavirus reports and 28 deaths. And perhaps that’s the reason why caution is being taken.

His new trip schedule has not been announced.

Over 1,000 confirmed cases have been reported in the US with 28 deaths.

The trip was scheduled from March 16 to 20.
