UK school receives backlash for serving pork instead of vegetable sausage to Muslim students 

What happened:   It has been alleged that a school in the UK is serving pork in lunch to the Muslim students of the school. StarNews reported,  “UK school mistakenly served pork meat in lunch to Muslim children, which infuriated parents.”  The incident took place at a primary school in Brimmigham’s West Bromwich area, where Muslim students served pork sausage. Details: Whereas, another local publication quoted,  “The extreme negligence by the school administration left parents furious, leading them to launch protests against the irresponsible act.”  However, the students were refunded their lunch money by the administration but still received backlash.  School’s response: A spokesperson for the school is quoted as,  “We have taken this matter very seriously and have formally complained to the catering provider and the Food Standards Agency.”
