What happened: On February 13, Express Tribune reported that scientists Fuzuli Yagmurlu, Rasit Altindag and Nazmi Sengun found Bismillah engraved on a marble slab in Antalya Marble Industry located in Taskesigi village. Express Tribune reported, “The figure that appeared on the stone attracted the attention of miners. Removing the dust from the stone, workers noticed the marking appeared to spell Bismillah in Arabic letters.”
Details: The marble slab was later sent to Suleyman Demirel University for further analysis; however, it is believed that the markings on the marble slab is nearly 195 million years old from the time period of Jurassic dinosaurs. At the same time, Express Tribune quoted, “The Arabic figures on the marble slab are the same character as Bismillah which is mentioned in the Holy Quran.”
More: Whereas, the Turkish media reported that the Bismillah on marble slab was completely natural and the Arabic writings were formed as a result of the fragmentation, deformation, and arrangements of the remains of heart-shaped shellfish.
