Tourist train service launched in Balochistan

What happened: To promote tourism in Balo­chistan, Pakistan Railw­ays has launched a special train service for tourists.

Details : Quetta Divisional Super­intendent Engineer Akhtar Mahmood inaugurated the train service at a ceremony held at Quetta Railways Station. The train will run between Quetta and Bostan as well as Quetta and Kolpur every Saturday and Sunday with fare ranging from Rs20 to Rs50. “This is the second tourist train launched in the country this year that offers travelers a chance to see the historic sites,” Nazia Jabeen, Director Public Relations, Pakistan Railways stated.
