“To look cool among ladies, and I love being called charsi by the ladies” 

What happened: The Indian actor Sanjay Dutt opens up about his addiction and cancer journey in an interview. Dutt recalled the time he first found out about his cancer diagnosis during the Covid-19 pandemic when Priya Dutt broke the news of cancer to him. In conversation with the YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, the Bollywood actor said,  “I could have broken someone’s face, so my sister came and told me that I have got cancer, and that’s when I said Mereko kuch nahi houga.”  Details: Further in the conversation, Sanjay said,  “God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.”  At the same time, Sanjay Dutt revealed the reason behind him doing drugs,  “I was very shy, especially with women, so I started doing drugs to look cool. You do it and you become a cooler guy with the ladies.”  Sanjay Dutt’s rehab journey: In the conversation with Ranveer the Bollywood actor said,  “Ten years of my life I was in my room or in the bathroom, uninterested in shoots. But this is what life is, and that’s how everything changed. When I came back from rehab, people called me charsi. And I thought, kay ab kuch krna padega, that is when I decided to change and leave drugs forever.”
