TikToker fired after he moved into his work cubicle as protest for not being ‘paid enough’

What happened: On March 17, after footage of him moving into his cubicle at work went viral, the Tiktoker, Chibuzor Ejimofor claimed he was fired. The man is said to be called Simon Jackson professionally and could be seen unpacking his stuff in an office cubicle and putting them away in work shelves and drawers in a video that has over 12 million views now. Details: In the video, the 28-year-old says, “I’m moving from my apartment into my cubicle at work. They don’t pay me enough to do both, so I’m just going to stay at my work and see how long I can get away with it as a protest.” The engineering consultant business Arcadis, Jackson’s employer, compelled him to pack up his belongings after his cubicle holiday only lasted four days and three nights. Jackson was then fired, he claimed. More: “I wish they had taken a different approach to the TikToks and perhaps had a talk with me about whether there was something more serious going on in terms of money,” the building project manager told Insider.  What’s next: “I’ve gotten a lot of views lately, so I’m hoping to use that to help me establish my brand. If that doesn’t work out, I can always look for another job,”says Jackson.
