A notice found at Block 6 of Machiyara Residency, Clifton forbids non-Muslims from coming in to purchase or rent property in the area. The images tweeted this morning by Sikandar Ali Hullio show the sign outside the elevators in the block.
What a shame! This is #Karachi's posh locality – #Clifton, bannering – #NonMuslims are prohibited either to rent or buy property! Who owns this property located at Block 6 of Machiyara Residency, unknown? What's known is the sick mindset that never treats all our citizens equal. pic.twitter.com/BoLJGQ5fVI

This disgusting act of discrimination has been shunned by many, while others don’t seem to see the problem.
Disgraceful. The sticker right next to it says "Allah is watching.". May Allah guide these people

Others have come forth with more examples of discrimination in other areas of Karachi and Pakistan.
"پہلے اسلام میں آئیں
پھر دکان میں آئیں"یہ میرپورخاص سندھ کی ایک بازار میں بینر آویزاں ہے۔

Sir I was looking for a flat in Karachi 2018. There are more than 20+ buildings where these type of notices and rules are there that you can’t sell your flat to a non-muslim.
Almost every building in Bahadurabad has this rule too. Especially zam zam residency owners.— Karan, MD (@karanlarai) September 25, 2019
One account pointed out how this practice is common in India towards Muslims. However, that does not justify this illegal act of bigotry in Pakistan.
