These online bakers are making artistic buttercream cakes that deserve to be on your Insta story

Art is not limited to a single form; some turn fabric into a canvas and others cakes. Desserts were once limited to just being sweet but now incredible artists are working their creative magic on cakes to make them look so beautiful that it’ll be hard to dig into. Most of these artists use buttercream to decorate all kinds of cakes from minimalistic to intricate yet luxurious.  Here are 7 bakers from Lahore whose cakes are no less than pieces of art:

1. This founder has been baking cakes since the age of 9

Aleeha Shah is a 19-year-old with the skills of an experienced cake artist. She started Aleeha’s Pantry (@aleehaspantry) last year amidst peak lockdown boredom but has been taking orders unofficially for years now.  Her designs are usually non-pictorial and minimalistic. Most of her designs are an amalgamation of what the customer wants and what she thinks will look visually pleasing. She is also open to replicate the designs from other bakers or Pinterest. Customers can get her cakes in chocolate fudge, vanilla chocolate fudge, vanilla caramel, lemon meringue and chocolate salted caramel flavours. Price starts from Rs. 1,500.  Witness art here!

She takes her inspiration from her mother, who is an exceptional baker herself.
