What happened: Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Sardar Ali Shah inaugurated the newly converted Mukhi House Museum in Hyderabad. The house was built in 1920 by a prominent figure of Hyderabad, Mukhi Jethanand. Details: In 2015, it was handed over to the Sindh government to be turned into Hyderabad Museum. It is located near Hyderabad’s Pakka Qila. The house’s interior boasts of stone from Jodhpur, India with windows and doors made of Sheesham and Sagwan wood. The Mukhi House in the past has hosted some historical personalities of the subcontinent.
