The Economist ranks Pakistan third in “Return to Normalcy Index”

What happened: Out of 50 countries Pakistan has ranked 3rd in The Economist’s Global Normalcy Index. This index shows which countries are returning to the pre-pandemic levels of normal life. Pakistan’s normalcy score out of 100 is at 84.4 making it third after Hong Kong (first) and New Zealand (second). Details: The index uses eight indicators to grade each country. These indicators include: time not at home, retail, office use, public transport, road traffic, flights, cinema and sports attendance.
