Pakistani animated film The Donkey King will be releasing in theatres in Russia on December 5th.

After getting its release to audiences in Spain and South Korea, Pakistani animated movie ‘The Donkey King’ will be releasing in theatres in Russia on December 5th.


The film is directed by Aziz Jindani and has been released under the banner of Geo Films. It is a political satire featuring the voices of Jan Rambo, Ismail Tara, Hina Dilpazeer, Ghulam Mohiuddin and Jawed Sheikh.

The director explained “We are not just going to stop with the release in Russia. We are trying to unlock other international markets as well,”

Released in October 2018, The Donkey King has grossed Rs24.75 crores after running in the cinemas for 25 weeks.


Over the next few months, The Donkey King will be dubbed and released across seven countries.
