The Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 6 Teaser is here!

The show was cancelled by FOX six mouths back, but following a massive outcry on social media, NBC jumped on the bandwagon to give the show a reboot. Brooklyn Nine Nine, from Executive Producers Michael Schur and Dan Goor, is the winner of a Golden Globe award for the Best Comedy Series. The show features a diverse cast with characters that negate major stereotypes. The male lead Jake Peralta, portrayed by Andy Samberg, is nothing like the typical alpha male that most shows and movies abroad and at home depict. Moreover, Terry Jeffords played by Terry Crews, is the polar opposite of toxic masculinity. The series’ quirky yet relatable characters make it all the more endearing, not to mention the absurd Halloween plots and on-going competitions between the colleagues. In the season 5 finale of Brooklyn Nine Nine, Jake and Amy Santiago tie the knot in a surprise ceremony arranged by Jake’s bestfriend Charles Boyle after a bomb threat causes their first ceremony to get cancelled. The episode ends with the team at the local watering hole, with Captain Holt about the disclose whether he has made it as the Commisioner. The teaser trailer for season 6 shows the team rejoicing – but it remains unclear whether they are celebrating Jake and Amy’s nuptials or Captain Holt’s promotion. The release date for season 6 has not been announced as yet.
