Tanzila Khan receives Amal Clooney award for her work on menstrual healthcare in Pakistan 

What happened:  @iamtanzilakhan was recognised by the Prince’s Trust International Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award, especially for her work on increasing women’s access to menstrual, pregnancy and reproductive health products in Pakistan and also for talking about an inclusive environment. Tanzila received the award for her company, known as  GirlyThings,  as she aims to create awareness.  Details:  At the same time, Tanzila Khan showed gratitude in an Instagram post as she wrote,  “The award hopes to lay the foundation for future young changemakers in years to come..”  Whereas, in an interview with Dawn, she said,  “I am on a mission to help improve women’s health. I run a service that delivers menstrual health products to women across Pakistan, and I am the writer, producer and actor behind Pakistan’s first short comedy on disability, Fruit Chaat.”
