Taliban feared Afghan artists protesting in Peshawar claim, “Pakistan failed them”

What happened:   The Taliban feared and mourning Afghan artists who had fled the country for a safe space in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Peshawar city have held a protest against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities. Lately, it has been reported that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities are planning to deport the Afghan artists who came to the city to make a living.  Details:   Express Tribune, while quoting the protestors, wrote,  “They were being thrown to the wolves, as police were using deportation clauses of the Foreigners Act to snd them back to Afghanistan, where their lives were in danger.”  It is pertinent to mention that the Taliban-led Afghan government had banned music, and the protesting artists in Peshawar said,  “They had come to Pakistan to seek refuge, but the model KP police had increased their suffering by making unnecessary arrests.”  More: The protests by the Afghan artists come at a time when the Taliban in Afghanistan has already imposed various bans; however, the protestors further added,  “Police bring deportation charges against them as soon as the cops know that they are artists.”
