The first lunar eclipse of 2021 is going to occur during the early hours of Wednesday, May 26. During this time, the moon will appear slightly reddish-orange for 14 minutes. A lunar eclipse and supermoon will occur at the same time in a celestial event called a ‘Super Flower Blood Moon.’

What Happened: According to scmp. com, tomorrow’s Super Blood Moon will be the closest of the year, getting to within 357,311km of Earth just nine hours before the total lunar eclipse.
