Spicy food and meat should be avoided during the recent heatwave 

What happened: As Pakistan faces a severe heatwave, contributing to the climate change taking place worldwide, the temperatures are soaring up across the country. Subsequently, Pakistani physicians and health experts have advised stopping eating meat and spicy food during the heatwave. The health experts in Pakistan claimed that eating spicy food would add to the  deadly  impact of high temperatures that is on a roll in Pakistan.  Details: Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences former spokesperson Dr. Waseem A Khawajah, in n interview with APP, claimed that the daily average temperature would remain between 40-50 degrees celsius, which may affect the elderly population of Pakistan. More:   Dr Khawajah is quoted as,  “The increase in temperature required the general public to take extra preventive measures and precautions to avoid contracting heat strokes.”  While advising the masses, he said,  “Reduce the intake of meat, eggs, pickles, strong chilies, spices, greens, spinach, and fried items.”  He also instructed the youth to refrain from taking dast food items, and ready-made food too.
