Jon Rahm, a Spanish pro golfer, made a stunning hole in one shot on Tuesday. In a practice session for the Masters Tournament, which is starting today, Jon Rahm was able to hit a spectacular shot across a pond and into the hole. He struck with such precision that it never sunk in the pond, instead it appeared to bounce along the surface of the water, barely skimming it until it landed on the green on the opposite side and rolled right into the 16th hole. Rahm was delighted, and it was his birthday as well so the celebration of such an amazing shot was doubly sweet.
Jon Rahm is the world number 2, and he finished in the top 10 in his last two Master’s appearances. Earlier he did speak of his desire to become the fourth Spanish winner, after the great players, Jose Maria Olazabal, Seve Ballesteros and Sergio Garcia. Rahm has had a good year so far, he won the BMW and the Memorial Championship. He has had 11 wins worldwide since he started playing professionally in 2016.
