Sir Vivian Richards compares Babar Azam with boxer Muhammad Ali and terms him the best cricketer

What happened: On February 6, in an interview with a private channel, the legendary cricketer from West Indies, Sir Vivian Richards, said,  “Babar is up with the very best. He is definitely the best who plays conventional shots and shots that you will normally see in Test match cricket, ODI cricket.”  Mentoring the Quetta Gladiators side in the seventh season of #PSL, Sir Vivian compared the Pakistani skipper with the great Muhammad Ali as he said,  “He tends to be like a Muhammad Ali; when he boxes, he jabs and he hurts you..” 

Details: Babar Azam-led Karachi Kings side in this year’s PSL has been on a losing trend as the Kings are yet to find their first win in the HBL PSL 7. However, Babar Azam has mostly been criticized by the social media users for his performance in the 7th season of PSL, despite him scoring 90 runs in the last match of Karachi Kings against Islamabad United.

More: Furthermore, Sir Vivian Richards, in the interview, said,  “What I love about Babar is that you don’t see what he’s doing to you; he doesn’t knock you out but tends to be like Muhammad Ali.”
