What happened: A provincial coronavirus task force meeting was held on Friday to discuss the response to the quickly rising COVID cases in Sindh. Decisions were taken to re-impose certain certain restrictions from July 26, Monday. The task force meeting was chaired by the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The restrictions: Indoor and outdoor dining, marriages, events will be banned. Malls and markets will only be allowed to stay open between 6am and 6pm, with the exception of grocery stores, bakeries and pharmacies. Shrines will not open during the restrictions phase. While exams will be held as schedules, educational institutions will remain closed. Offices, in both public and private sector, will operate at 50 percent occupancy.
