Shaheens are high ranked, but Afghanistan has a better record in UAE

What happened:  Fans of the game have claimed that it would be an interesting clash between the two, and they can’t wait to see how @babarazam tackles spin wizard @rashid.khan19. Pakistan and Afghanistan have the perfect blend of both youngsters and experienced players. Pakistan coming in with an unbeaten record in the current T20 World Cup, on the other hand, the Afghans are coming in with a fresh victory against Scotland. However, both teams have not faced each other in the T20 Internationals much, and this would be only the second time when they meet. Their previous match in this format dates back to 2013.

Did you know? Pakistan has been unbeaten in their last 12 T20 Internationals in the UAE and has a record of winning 24 of their 38 matches. On the other hand, Afghanistan has a better record than Pakistan, as they won 27 of their 34 matches in the United Arab Emirates. Whereas, Mohammad Hafeez is the only Pakistani player to have played against Afghanistan in a T20 International match. Afghanistan, currently has six players who were a part of the 2013 T20 International match against Pakistan. What else: Pakistan’s head coach Saqlain Mushtaq in a video statement, had said, “Afghanistan have a wonderful bowling attack, especially their spinners. When they go to bat, they play the way they feel it, what’s in their heart, what they think. They just go and execute the plan. They just play fearless cricket and I think that kind of team can be dangerous.” In another video, Saqlain can be seen bowling to the Pakistani players ahead of their game against Afghanistan.
