What happened: A Michigan school teacher named Marisa Fotieo was on an Iceland-bound flight from Chicago before she tested positive for Covid-19. Marisa Fotieo is a teacher and on December 19, she tested positive for the virus mid-flight and decided to isolate herself in the aeroplane bathroom as the plane was travelling over the Atlantic Ocean. Details: However, 4 of her previous PCR tests came back negative, but the 5th one came back positive and she got nervous as she decided to isolate herself in the bathroom. CNN quoted Marisa saying, “I was nervous for my family who I just had dinner with. I was nervous for the other people on the plane. I was nervous for myself.” On the other hand, the flight attendants tried comforting Marisa and rearranged her seat, but the flight was full, so she was forced to sit in the bathroom.
