Schools for transgenders to be set up in Punjab

What happened: Education Minister Dr Murad Raas, announced on Tuesday that separate schoold for the transgender community will be set up in Punjab very soon. The first such school will be established in Multan. Details: The announcement was made at the ceremony of the Insaf Afternoon School Programme in Lahore. The Minister further clarified that due to reservations regarding the behaviour of other students towards transgender children, the government had decided to not to enroll them in regular schools.
