“Rizwan would have given his life for the nation,” reveals the head coach

Details:  In an interview, Pakistan’s interim head coach, Saqlain Mushtaq, said that @mrizwanpak led from the front in the semi-final encounter. Saqlain Mushtaq also revealed that Rizwan ticked all the boxes in the medical report on the semi-final day, and Rizwan said, “I am here to fight for Pakistan, and if I sacrifice my life for this cause even that is less.” Saqlain Mushtaq also said that after looking at Rizwan’s spirit, the management decided to include him in the team.

Also:  On the other hand, while supporting Hassan Ali, the interim head coach said, “He has always been a match-winner, and his contributions for the national side are countless.” Saqlain Mushtaq also claimed that Hassan Ali enjoyed breakfast with his wife after the tough loss against the Aussies, and he should not be criticized. At the same time, Saqlain noted that the bond between the player and the coach is vital, and the bond should be a special one, as “The coach needs to understand what’s going on in the players’ mind.” Previously:  A day before the semi-final against the Aussies, it was revealed that Shoaib Malik and Rizwan were experiencing flu-like symptoms, despite testing negative for the Covid-19, but upon clearance, they were allowed to compete for the national side. After Pakistan’s emotional defeat against Australia, Rizwan’s picture went viral on social media, in which he was seen in the hospital, with drips, due to a chest infection.
