Details: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on April 20, sent a hundred tonnes of dates to Pakistan as their annual tradition and continuation of their Ramadan Gift trend. The Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also issued a statement that read, “The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to provide a number of 100-ton dates to its brothers in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the recommendation of King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.” Also: Speaking on the occasion of the Ramadan Gift exchange, Brigadier Hammad Amjad said, “The annual gesture of the gift of dates is a testament of the strong and everlasting brotherly relations between the two countries.” Whereas, the Saudi ambassador Aman Ullah Sipra stated, “The relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is very old and unique. This relationship is not just government to government but people to people.”
