Punjab proposes 3 month wedding ban to combat smog & it’s not looking good

The Punjab government presented a new smog control policy to the Lahore High Court, proposing a wedding ban from October to December to reduce pollution. Advocate General Punjab announced that this ban will begin next year, as part of broader anti-smog initiatives, with a dedicated budget for the first time. The court praised the government’s efforts, noting improvements over previous administrations and suggested extending the policy to other districts. The court also commended the distribution of super seeders to farmers as a positive step.
