Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Hunarmand Pakistan programme – the country’s largest-ever skilled development programme aimed at enhancing the skills of the youth through quality professional training – on January 9, 2020.
The programme will be executed in the next four years at a cost of Rs30 billion. It will facilitate the youth through easy loans, professional capacity-building, start-ups and internships.
Initially, under the Hunarmand Jawan Programme, around 170,000 youth will be given professional skill-based training, of which 50,000 will be trained in areas of artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing and other advanced areas of technology.
Over 50,000 youth will be given training at the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority in conventional areas including auto-mechanics, plumbing, whereas 20,000 youth will be given apprenticeship.
Youth (18-40 years) can apply for the programme in two ways.

All completed and submitted applications shall be processed within 30 working days.

Duration and Cost
