Police SHO and IO suspended for hushing rape of medical student

What happened: Dera Ghazi Khan’s regional police officer (RPO) suspended the Karam Dad Qureshi police station house officer (SHO) and investigation officer (IO) for not mentioning the rape of a medical student at gunpoint in the FIR report of a house robbery. The robbers also made a video clip of the rape. Details: An inquiry has also been launched against the Saddar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bakht Nasir over negligence and corruption related to this case. While this incident happened in April, only now has the complainant been able to get the rightful response to the crime.
