PM Imran Will Visit Saudi Arabia Today To Facilitate Peace Talks With Iran

After his one day visit to Iran two days ago, the PM is visiting Saudi Arabia today in line with his decision to engage the two countries in talks of peace and security The Foreign Office has confirmed that the premier will discuss the matter with the Saudi leadership, taking his recent meetings with other leaders and their opinions into account as well. According to them, bilateral ties and other regional developments will also be part of the conversation. This will be the Prime Minister’s third visit to Saudi Arabia this year; the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman also paid a state visit to Pakistan in February.

Khan visited Iran on Sunday, where he met with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran.

“In the past, Pakistan had hosted Saudi Arabia and Iran and is again willing to facilitate the brotherly countries to iron out their differences,” he had said there.
