The PM announced this during a session of Africa-focused Envoys Conference at the Foreign Office. The purpose of this conference was to deliberate on measures for strengthening relations with African countries and diversifying and deepening political, economic and social relations with African countries.
One of the main conclusions of this session was that Pakistan needed to strengthen it’s relation with African states.
The PM expressed his regret in the fact that Pakistan did not have the opportunity to cultivate relations with African states in the past due to lack of innovation with it’s foreign policy.
He further said that he wanted the similar relationship like that of Pakistan’s with Turkey or China.
