What happened: On March 4, a suicide attacker targeted Peshawar’s Imambargah as over 50 were reported dead and over 190 were injured. However, in a tweet, Sheikh Rasheed condemned the #PeshawarAttack and sought a report from the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. At the same time, while talking to a private media channel, the minister said, “The attack was a pre-planned act to destabilise Pakistan.” Details: Subsequently, the minister said, “External forces want to disturb peace in Pakistan.” Whereas, the Interior Minister also said that there was no previous security threat in this regard. APP.Com quotes the development as, “He(Sheikh Rasheed) said, it was a planned bomb attack to disrupt peace and tranquillity.” More: The nation still awaits a tweet or a speech by the premier of the country in this regard as more than 8 hours have been passed since the deadly attack, but Imran Khan is yet to release a statement in this regard. However, after the Peshawar attack, the premier had tweeted about the demise of Australia’s wicket-keeper Rodney Marsh, but a tweet in regards to the attack is yet to come.
