What happened: Galaxy Racer(@galaxyracerdxb) plans to hold Pakistan’s first-ever Esports tournament in Islamabad by the name of “HER Galaxy.” The esports tournament will take place from the 8th to the 9th of January at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad. About the tournament: The female Esports tournament will feature female gamers from across the country in a bid to showcase their talent at the international level. The female gamers will take their competitive gaming experience to the next level by participating in the Valorant Spike Rush 2v2. The two-day tournament will be free of entry to the public. Tournament’s aim: HER Galaxy tournament in Islamabad aims to promote and celebrate Pakistani female gamers as part of Galaxy Racer’s initiative. Galaxy Racer also became the first Esports organization to sign the first Pakistani female gamer Madiha Naz in 2020. CEO of the Galaxy Racer Pakistan, Fakhar-e-Alam, said, “Our initiative of HER Galaxy is to give an opportunity to encourage and nurture Pakistani girls to explore possibilities in the esports universe and compete with the best around the world.”
