Zartaj Gul, Pakistan’s Climate Minister, was invited to attend the Climate March in Islamabad on Friday. The Minister surprised everyone though, when she took credit for organising the march itself. Ofcourse, the Climate March was in fact organized by Climate Action PK.
The tweet has since been deleted, but we were able to obtain a screengrab:

Needless to say, people were not happy to see her even suggest such a thing.
Arrogance, delusion and self importance unlimited: “join me. will b leading the Walk”, says Zartaj Gul Wazir instead of acknowledging the initiative of civil society/students and humbly saying that she too will join walk. Come out of the illusions of delusion and grow up please. https://t.co/J42RmzKYP8

Does Miss Zartaj Gul realize that the #ClimateMarch is being organised because of her and her regime's own incompetence and inability to grasp the scale of the issue? https://t.co/GNynZOf3bN

What #ZartajGul did is exactly what vultures do. https://t.co/ZF36bNEgGF

Many pointed out that it was because of her and her administration’s impotence that the march was having to take place; some took the opportunity to further highlight examples of ineptitude, such as using her rank to grant her sister, Shabnam Gul, a position in NACTA.
Using nepotism to get her sister a job? Naya Pakistan much?https://t.co/ZLY4rCP6H9
