Pakistani passenger gets blacklisted from PIA after he ‘faked a heart attack’ on Toronto-bound flight

What happened:   PIA passenger identified as Syed Waseh was traveling to Toronto on PK-783 when he allegedly suffered a heart attack and reported breathing issues, forcing the plane to divert back to Karachi. Local publications reported,  “A passenger suffering cardiac arrest mid-air on Toronto-bound PIA flight a day before turned out to be a drama.”  Details: At the same time, upon the return, Syed Waseh was taken to the hospital, where the medical examination proved that there was no evidence of cardiac arrest and the patient was found to be normal. On the other hand, a PIA spokesperson is quoted as,  “Spokesman has confirmed that the national flag carrier blacklisted the passenger after it had to suffer losses of Rs12.5 million.”  More: At the same time, different publications have called the whole incident a  “drama” . Subsequently, the PIA’s spokesman is quoted by ProPakistani as,  “Incurred losses of 12.5 million rupees after it had to de-fuel the plane and had to land with only 100 tons in the fuel tank.”
