The Bigger Picture : According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and HRD, over 11.4 Pakistanis have gone abroad for employment in more than 50 countries. Therefore, the ministry is striving to boost this momentum by exploring new job markets across the globe. As a result, of this large emigration the inflow of remittances from Pakistani workers employed abroad has also increased. It has exceeded $2 billion for the 12th month in a row.
It is indeed a result of concerted efforts of @mophrd and CWAs under your able leadership. #OverseasPakistanis are playing their role in the economic development of Pakistan through unconditional remittances unlike IMF programs. Govt. should announce a historical package for them
